Pivnica Budweiser offers deliciously prepared food at two locations: Kvatrić and Trešnjevka.
The first Budweiser, the one on Heinzelova Street (Kvatrić), is one of the most important eateries in the eastern part of Zagreb. But apart from satisfying the daily calorie needs of hundreds upon hundreds of people — and at a very affordable price — Budweiser also serves excellent grilled dishes and generous fresh salads with freshly chopped vegetables.
So, Budweiser is not just another one of the many cheap diners that people visit only for large portions at low prices; it’s a place that aims to offer quality food, at least within certain categories.
That’s why it’s good news for the residents of Trešnjevka that, at the beginning of March, Budweiser opened its first branch at Adžijina 16, occupying a fairly large space just a few houses away from the well-known seafood tavern Korkyra.
Interestingly, both Budweiser locations have expanded their menus to include lamb and veal baked under the bell (peka) — a definite step up within the genre of Zagreb’s casual eateries.

The man behind the specialties at Budweiser Tavern in Zagreb is Chef Srđan Stanković, whose skilled hands shape, grill, and serve kilograms of the most delicious meat from the famous Leskovac grill every day.
One of the most popular dishes is the đevrek — a burger stuffed with kajmak (a traditional creamy dairy spread).
